It has been some time since I have been able to take the time do some GIS analysis and map production. In August 2022 I start a new position as GIS Analyst at Michael Baker International. In this new position, as part of the planning team, I am responsible for all map production and spatial analysis involved in local, county, and state hazard mitigation plans. This role has provided me the opportunity to fully evolve over to ArcGIS Pro, but to also learn some new programs such as FEMA’s HAZUS for flood, hurricane, and earthquake damage modeling.

As some of the projects and plans I took part in begin to get approved and published, I plan to provided links for insight into the map production, analysis, and modeling for which I was responsible. Until then!
